Orange Pajamas and Other Cuteness

I LOVE getting new pajamas for Jake. He has outgrown his one-piece red/orange striped pajamas, and he really needs 4 pairs of pajamas to last through the week, so I got him a new pair, in the next size up. Mama swoons at his pajama cuteness.
I also am patting myself on the back for doing a good clean-up of Jake's toys and playroom. The playroom had become too crowded so that he wasn't even really using it. After I cleaned up he immediately spent a good 30 minutes just enjoying the coziness of his own space.
Got more strawberries and rhubarb at the farmer's market. I made a big batch of strawberry-rhubarb crisp and put some in these cute little pots that I got from my mom and stuck them in the freezer. Now they are ready to pop into the oven when we want more crisp. Yum.

What a cutie!!! Babies in pajamas are the best :).

So- I just had to ask for the recipe for the strawberry crisp. It's freezable? How cool is that? (pun intended). :)

Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp from Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver

3 cups cut up strawberries
3 cups cut up rhubarb
1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup butter

Mix the strawberries, rhubarb, and honey in a bowl. Put into a baking dish (or several). Mix the remaining ingredients (I like to do it in the food processor) and sprinkle on top of the fruit/honey mix.

Freeze or immediately bake. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes until juices are bubbling.
