Thank you, Kayla!
I haven't had a chance to post the pictures from Jake and Skylar's last day with their amazing nanny, Kayla. The three of them have been together every week for 13 months, and it was hard to believe that came to an end. What a wonderful year it was for them!

Luckily, these two kids are in the same school, same classroom together, and are so happy to still get to see each other during the week.

Playdough!!
Today while I was working I gave Kayla the instructions and ingredients to make playdough. It came out really well!
Not happy with me putting the camera in his face.
Attempting to give me a smile.
Blue, green, yellow. Now making the red one. (They also made orange and purple.)
Cat cookie cutter to play with!
I snuck a peak at them when I was upstairs working. They had made a green alligator. You can also see the red, orange, and yellow playdough.
Playdough
Not happy with me putting the camera in his face.
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
food coloring
Mix flour, salt and oil, and slowly add the water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until dough becomes stiff. Turn out onto wax paper and let cool. Knead the playdough with your hands until of proper consistency. Use as is, or divide into balls and add a few drops of the food coloring to make various colors.

Fingerpaint
I came back from Boise last night, and Jake gave me the stinkeye. He was really glad to have me back, though, but was not at all happy that I had to work again today, even though I was working from home. Luckily, I recently brought a secret weapon some fingerpaint, so he was occupied with that on and off today with Kayla.
He wore one of Daddy's work shirts.

Yay, some artwork for my refrigerator!
