Jake needed new shoes! So we went and got some. He is very happy with them because they are comfortable and "very fast" (very important). I'm happy with them because they have really good traction on the bottom for when he runs very fast. They are, in fact, running shoes, made by Saucony! He was happy to go to school this morning to show his friends his new shoes, and when he got home he said that his new shoes were "very fast."

Fast!
Jake needed new shoes! So we went and got some. He is very happy with them because they are comfortable and "very fast" (very important). I'm happy with them because they have really good traction on the bottom for when he runs very fast. They are, in fact, running shoes, made by Saucony! Boy Shoes!
Jake's feet grew. His toes come up to the '7' on the foot measurement scale, but he needed size 8 shoes. (Ignore the water spot on his shirt... he'd just had breakfast and I had to clean up his shirt!)
These shoes just scream BOY! This mama is having a hard time wrapping her head around the BOY shoes.
But they are good shoes for this little runner, jumper, and all-around active guy. I made sure that they wouldn't easily get wet for those damp days at the playground.
