Ryan's First Bath

He was okay with his bath! He didn't cry, but just seemed suspiciously curious about what was happening.

Mini-Bath

He's big enough to climb up on the counter by himself, close the drain, run the water, and put himself in.

Bubbles!

For three years now, Jake has LOVED baths. Sometimes he would request more than one bath in a day just because they were so much fun. But lately, despite the variety of bath toys he has at his disposal, he hasn't really wanted to take baths. This, combined with lots of outdoor time spent in grass and dirt, is not a very good combination. So what did this Mama do? Got some bubble bath!! He's never had bubble bath before, and I'm glad I saved it for now. And he eagerly climbed into the bath with the bubbles and had a grand time.

It's the bath toys -- who can resist?

Lately, Jake likes to say/sign: "I'm STINKY! *pinching his nostrils* Need a bath!"

And he is not stinky -- he has said this immediately upon waking up and also after having a shower/bath earlier that day.

Not much adventure around here, lately, although we've been plenty busy.

There's been the usual child taking baths... (and yes, the towel is on the floor because he's discovered how to splash and swim and generally get things outside of the tub wet).
