January 2012

January was a very busy month for us. The beginning was spent dealing with good friends and holiday leftovers.
Then the rest of the month Mike worked overtime 5 weeks in a row and I struggled to balance family life with my work life. I am glad that month is over! But, my kids sure were cute, as usual, so here are some pictures:

Jake finished building the Lego fire station he got for Christmas. It took all day.

Reading Otis and the Tornado, a Christmas present from G.
Helping me shop. The boys pushed the cart together like this the whole time in the store!

Playdough.
Then we got some snow. I quickly sent Jake outside in his pajamas, coat, and boots to stomp around a bit before the snow melted.
Ryan watched from the window.

Another day, it snowed again. Enough that it made the roads a bit slick, but not enough to close/delay school. Turns out they really should have delayed school, as many cars and buses got stuck on the hilly roads in the higher elevations, which include our commute to school!

Attempts to get a good picture of the boys... I just LOVE this pajama combo.
