So even though Mike doesn't have a job right now, he does have some side work that he's been contracted to do. One job was only a few miles from our house, so Jake and I went to visit and to watch him work for a while. Jake really enjoyed watching and we stayed for an hour!
There's Mike on the ladder. He helps to put that white paper (flashing) around the holes for the windows and then installs the windows themselves. Yes, watching him makes me slightly nervous, but his sense of balance is absolutely amazing.
Then this little guy was just happy to be there and was dancing around.
